You could see 23000 people literally hold their breath in anticipation of what President Monson’s first official words as a prophet, seer, and revelator would be. He gets to the pulpit and the first thing he does is…Wait for it……. HE WIGGLES HIS EARS!!! To me, that sent a message out loud and clear to the saints worldwide. I could be wrong (ask my wife), but I believe he was saying to us ….. “LIGHTEN UP PEOPLE!! HAVE SOME FUN!! DON’T TAKE YOURSELVES TOO SERIOUSLY!!” And so the Hoodie Boyscouts was born!! Our purpose is to be totally, genuinely, full of honest to goodness, 100% fun and fully alive in all we do …We just simply want to put a smile on people’s faces.
